The Do Good Sisterhood
Delta Gamma is the do-good sisterhood! Doing good happens on three levels: within our own personal lives, on our campus/in our sorority/fraternity community, as well as on a larger scale! To live up to our motto, Rutgers Delta Gammas participate in many service opportunities- such as RUDM, tabling events, participating in other organizations' philanthropic efforts as well as hosting our own events, throughout the academic year, to fundraise or give back to multiple communities and causes.
Service For Sight
Delta Gamma’s philanthropy, Service for Sight, supports the five schools founded by Delta Gammas for children who are visually impaired and other North American organizations that promote sight preservation and conservation. This philanthropy has been at the heart of the Delta Gamma mission since 1936, when a member who was blind, Ruth Billow, Eta-Akron, petitioned to adopt it as our official philanthropy.
Members invest in Service for Sight through hands-on service, awareness, and fundraising on their campuses and communities. On a national level, the Delta Gamma Foundation supports sight-related organizations through Service for Sight grants.

We are looking forward to hosting our annual philanthropy event, Anchor Games, this fall! Anchor Games helps to raise money for Service for Sight, as we invite students and Greek chapters across campus to participate in a week of fun and educational competitions and activities.
The Epsilon Psi chapter was able to partner with Artichoke Pizza to host a tabling event right outside the house! This event - Slices for Sight - was an effort to continue to fundraise for the Delta Gamma Foundation to allocate funding.
We also recently participated in RUDM- where our chapter raised over $8,000 for the Embrace Kids Foundation!
